How to hide and unhide data inside reports
If you compare some of the newer screenshots in this documentation with some of the older ones, you will notice one difference: the newer images show an eye icon next to all the metrics in the “Set data” panel:
This new control allows you to hide and unhide the corresponding information in the report without the need to remove the field altogether.
This way you can set up data points using filters or conditions and keep those configurations for later use, even if you don’t need the data currently being shown in the report. Just disable them for now and enable them whenever you want to see them again.
This can also be useful if you want to have the same field available in the report, but with different configurations. In case of the “Status” field, for example, you could add it twice, but with different filters – say, one for issues in “To Do” and one for issues in “In Progress”. By hiding and showing each one, you can switch between two different versions of the same report.
