Report Builder turns Jira issues into tables, charts and exports without leaving Jira. This section takes you from your first look at the app to a report other people can open on a dashboard.

The order below is the order to read it in. The first three pages are orientation — what the app can do, what the screen is made of, and where a new report comes from. Creating your first Universal Report is where you actually build something; Using Ready-to-go reports from Gallery is the shortcut if you would rather start from a finished template and change it.

Everything after that is what happens once a report exists: putting it on a dashboard, handing it to people who never open the app themselves, and getting the numbers out as a file.
