Report builder allows working with the report “Issue Export” while on the page of a specific Jira issue. To make this possible, a report must have the Issue Picker field.

Use Cases

  • Simplification of work with reports affected by issues

  • Providing access to multiple reports related to the issues

  • PDF export on the page of the issue

 

Locating issue export panel

Issue export panel is available on the right panel of the issue, if it’s enabled by you Jira Administrator.

Exporting the issue 

  1. Select the report from the list. To make the report available on the list, it should contain the Issue Picker field. Action buttons are not functional until the report will be selected.

 

2. Perform one of the three actions:

  • Click on the "Show" button and it will redirect you to the selected report page

  • Click on  "Export to PDF" button and it will generate a PDF file on the base of the selected report template

  • Click on “Attach to Issue“ button to attache the resulting report to the issue itself
