Migration Plan for Jira Admins

Overview

Timesheet Builder – Resource Planning & Teams Management is currently available on Atlassian Marketplace and has the exact same “My Timesheets” and “Teams” modules that you currently use in Report Builder.

Our product roadmap for Timesheet Builder – Resource Planning & Teams Management includes a number of new and unique features that will allow teams to:

  • Quickly find out how many billable hours were used for a particular Jira project

  • Analyze and allocate your (teams') resources efficiently

  • Effortlessly add multiple people with sophisticated bulk operations

  • and much more

Our plans for Report Builder are to continue to grow our reports library and take our reporting and charting capabilities to the next level. Timesheet Builder will have an integration with Report Builder for structured work log reporting.

Migration timeline

  • In February Timesheet Builder app will be available on Atlassian Marketplace and will have the exact same “My Timesheets” and “Teams” modules that you currently have in Report Builder.

  • In April we will migrate all user preferences and data of active users that are part of active licenses.

  • At the end of the year Report Builder will be updated again and the “MyTimesheets” and “Teams” module will be removed from the app. Then Timesheet Builder and Report Builder will be completely split. To ensure your users can continue using “My Timesheets” and “ Teams” on Report Builder, please make sure you have downloaded Timesheet Builder and used the discount that will be provided by email.
