Monthly view

Overview

The monthly view with time can be opened from the menu in the top right corner by clicking on the four squares icon.

Monthly view provides the possibility to check the logged time, change or delete existing work logs, and log new work.

The data is shown as a table, where the column is a day of the week, and each cell is a day of a month. Worklogs in a cell are displayed one below another one. If there are three or more work logs added to one day, you will see “+N more” on the left side below the last shown work log. By clicking on the link, you will see the list of all work logs added during this day.

Each work log has the same size, no matter how long you worked and booked.

In the top right corner of a cell, you will find the day of the chosen month, and in the top left corner of a cell, you will see the sum of logged time.

How to edit existing work logs?

Edit start date

To edit the start time or start day of an existing work log, you can simply drag and drop a work log in the day or new day. In this case, the time started will be kept as it was defined during the work log creation.

After moving the work log you will see the work log in the respective cell. You will get an additional notification, that informs you about the successful change of the work log.

To edit any other work log fields, such as team, start time, start date, comment, or spent time, you would need an advanced option.

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Hover on a work log. A window with the work log details will appear.

  2. Click on the pencil icon. A modal dialog will appear.

     

  3. Change the fields.

     

  4. Click on the “Save changes”-button to apply the changes or click “Cancel” to close the window without saving anything.

Please note, that:

  • The worklog author and Issue field cannot be changed after the work log creation

  • You cannot change any work logs, if they have been added to a team, where the period is closed and the chosen work log relate to this period

  • You cannot change any work logs in a team, where you are inactive (out of joining/leaving days)

How to delete existing work logs?

To delete an existing work log you can follow the steps below:

  1. Hover your cursor on the work log. The window with the details will appear.

  2. Click on the recycle bin icon. The delete work log window will appear.

     

  3. Confirm your action by clicking on the “Delete”-button or click “Cancel” to stop the deletion of the work log.

 

Please note, that you cannot delete any work logs if they have been added to a team, where the period is closed and the chosen work log relates to this period.

How to book time?

On the calendar view, you can book time multiple ways: by clicking on any cell of any day in the calendar, by dragging and dropping an issue from the Issues panel, or by clicking on the “Log time”-button at the top of the page.
