Scripted Reports: Dashboard Gadget

Report Builder provides a gadget for viewing any Scripted Reports, with the ability to set different values for input parameters.

Benefits:

  • you get instant access to your report data on your dashboard

  • you can compare the same report with different data (within your dashboards)

Steps to set up a gadget

  1. Select a report from the list. The list includes all reports from the three categories of reports: personal, shared and gallery reports.

 

2. Fill out the input fields, if necessary.

 

3. Get your result.

 

Notes:

You may notice the presence of control buttons. The "Refresh" button in step 3, after getting the results, is going to update the data of the current report (in case you made some changes to the selected elements). And you can select the option to reset the gadget, which will take you back to step (1).

These buttons will be modified and supplemented in future releases.
