How to update to Jira v.11.x

Please kindly note, that major changes were introduced in Jira v.11.x, and Timesheet Builder app has now two installation files for versions from 8.x to 10.x. For v.11.x we have published an update in a separate .jar file.

Please kindly follow this guide to move to a Timesheet Builder version that supports compatibility with v.11.x.

  1. Please make sure you have Jira version v.11.0.0 or higher

  2. Go to Version history on the marketplace https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1227537/timesheet-builder-time-tracking-and-worklog-analysis/version-history

  3. Select latest version that has postfix -jira11, and where Jira version that is currently installed is listed as a supported one

  4. Expand this version and click on “Download installer”

  5. Expand dropdown near “Download installer” and click “Download signature“

  6. Go to Manage apps from Settings (gear icon in the top right corner)

  7. If you are redirected to Find more apps, please kindly open Manage apps and click Upload app

  8. Put downloaded .jar file to Plugin file

  9. Open signature.json file which is downloaded, and select the whole content (Ctrl+A) and copy it (Ctrl+C) and put it to Signature field highlighted in step above

  10. Click Upload

  11. Once new version is installed, please kindly perform reindex according to this guide How to reindex issues in Data Center?
