Visibility

Visibility

General information

This Configuration tab allows to manage and limit visibility of Timesheet Builder app (for Data Center only) or to the Teams or My Timesheets modules. Each setting is applied separately, so if you want to provide access to the Teams module to a Jira group and would like to hide the My Timesheets module for this group, you can easily do it.

This not only affects the visibility of the icon in the menu, but also limits access to the module.

Please note that by default, access to the entire module is restricted. No one will see the "Cross-Team Reports" icon in the left menu.

To grant access to authorized users, select the appropriate group in this picker. As soon as a group is selected “nobody“ will be automatically removed, and added group will be able to access and see reports. If you select “nobody“, all other groups will be removed, and no one will be able to see the module.

This access rights management logic is designed to prevent users without permissions from seeing work log data. The access rights of the current user opening the report are not checked in these reports. This only affects the "Timesheet" report. The "Time Tracking" report does not require access rights checking, as this report does not contain user-level time information and only provides a general overview.
