Overview

On the “Manage availability”-page you can track your team-related information as well as track your personal leaves.

If you are added to multiple teams, you might need to switch between them. To switch between different teams, please click on the dropdown list and select a team. You will get updated information immediately.

Team information

On the “Manage availability”-page you can see some general information about your teams such as your role in the team, who is your team manager and what workload calendar you have in the selected team. This information can help you to get a general overview.

Personal leaves

To track and manage personal leaves you can click on the “+ Add personal leave”-button. The calendar with your personal leaves will open.

You have the possibility to add a non-working day as a vacation day, sick leave, or a day when you are off for some emergency.

Your administrator can add a new legend according to the needs of your organization. Your administrator can also change the color of any legends.

There are some system legends that cannot be used as the reason for leaving. For example, your team manager assigned you a holiday calendar. These days will be marked as “team calendar”. You cannot add a new non-working day with this leave reason, as the holiday calendar on the configuration level should be changed for this.

Your team manager can see your personal non-working days in a view in the team.

How to add a new non-working day?

To add a new non-working day, please follow the steps:

  1. Click +Add personal leave button, and the calendar will appear.

  2. Click on a cell that represents a day you want to mark as a non-working day.

  3. Choose a legend from the list of available leave reasons by clicking on the necessary radio.

  4. Click Add to add a new day.

  5. The selected day will be shown in the calendar as a non-working day with the selected legend.

  6. Save the changes by clicking on the “Save personal leaves”-button.

How to delete a non-working day?

To delete a non-working day, please follow the steps:

  1. Click the “+ Add personal leave”-button and the calendar will appear.

  2. Click on a cell that is currently marked as a non-working.

  3. The selected day will be shown as not highlighted.

  4. Save the changes by clicking on the “Save personal leaves” button.

Why I cannot add personal leaves?

Some teams track their personal leaves in a technical ticket. Your team lead can disable the ability to add personal leaves, as it affects the capacity calculation. Non-working days are excluded from the total capacity of the period. If your team tracks leave in a technical ticket, the capacity for these non-working days may be still more than zero. Please contact your team lead.
