Tracking time in Timesheet Builder is easy, reliable, and offers multiple options to integrate it easily in your working style. You can either track time internally in the Timesheet Builder app or from your desired ticket. Let’s discover the different time-tracking options.

Track time with your timer in the issue view

  1. Please navigate to an issue of your choice.

  2. Click on the tab “Work logs”. If you aren’t able to see it, please clarify that you have activated Timesheet Builder as your default time-tracking solution in your Jira settings.Read how to do this in Cloud and in Data Center.

  3. Click on the blue button “Log Work”.

  4. Now you are able to see the log work window.
    If you are part of a team, please select a team and the issue you worked on.

  5. Now fill in the time that the task took you and if you want you can add a comment to your work log.

  6. Click on “Save”.

  1. Please navigate to Timesheet Builder to the “My Timesheets” module.

  2. On the top left, you see the “Log Time” button. Please click on it.

  3. Now you are able to see the log work window.
    If you are part of a team, please select a team and the issue you worked on.

  4. Now fill in the time that the task took you and if you want you can add a comment to your work log.

  5. Click on “Save”.

  1. Please navigate to Timesheet Builder to the “My Timesheets” module.

    Now you are able to see the calendar. Please make sure that the date that you are currently looking at is the right one, otherwise use the date time picker to adjust it according to your needs.

  2. If you hover over a timeframe, a plus icon should appear. Please click on your desired timeframe.

  3. Now you are able to see the log work window.
    If you are part of a team, please select a team and the issue you worked on.

  4. Now fill in the time that the task took you and if you want you can add a comment to your work log.

  5. Click on “Save”.
